Balanced Body
Curriculum Classes

What’s included.

In-person or online class

Dive into my structured, Balanced Body®–specific curriculum classes at LÜ Pilates Studio.

The course takes place over one weekend with Educator Lauren Brandt, with a follow-up curriculum class taught by me the very next weekend—giving you the chance to immediately apply what you’ve learned and receive guided instruction to deepen your understanding.

Question and reflection period

This time held at the end of the class is intended as a supportive space to ask questions, practice, and further integrate the course material for each module.

Class recording and Class plan

We know life gets busy, and attending every class in person isn’t always possible. That’s why these sessions are recorded—so you can revisit them anytime over 30 days to refine your Pilates practice as a teacher-in-training.

You’ll also receive a detailed exercise guide, making it easy to review and apply everything you’ve learned.

What People Love About Sydney

What made you decide to join my curriculum classes or open gym sessions?

“I wanted to hear the material from the curriculum presented by another teacher to add dimension to my own learning.

I think it is important for teachers to learn from multiple teachers, as sometimes the same cue intention from one teacher might not land in your body, but it will with another teacher.

I also find, as a teacher in training, that not all teachers teach the curriculum with which we are learning to teach others, and while there is still some value in observing or taking classes that don’t teach the curriculum, it’s also not totally helpful in this part of our teaching journeys.” - Heather

“This is a great opportunity to further practice the knowledge. The more repetition the better.
Sydney always offers online options along with the in person and a recording after so it's very accessible.”
- Lindsay

What aspects of the classes or my teaching style stood out to you the most?

“Sydney has a well-trained eye and will offer corrections to your form to further enhance how each exercise should feel in your body. The class always includes many of the movement principles, so you can see how they would blend into a class with flow. The curriculum classes put the textbook exercises into a real-life class, which is important to experience for lesson planning. ” - Lindsay

“Clear, concise cueing, I appreciated chatting about the class after. Sydney is very thorough in your explanations, and I don't feel that there is a stupid question or thought.”  - Hanna

Everyone needs these!

These classes allow a deeper understanding of movement by cueing and learning how to be observant of the client.”

- Vicki
